Okay, I'm reviving the old blog so I can post my pictures for the photo challenge on 2peas photo board. Might still not post a whole lot but will be posting my pictures anyway. I need all the help I can get with my new camera!

Wow, I can't believe it's been 16 days since I've posted!!! Bad Blogger Bad Blogger!
I'll try to do better but it's not likely. Home today with a sinus infection. Ugh. Went to the doctor and he prescribed a bunch of yucky meds. I swear one of the pills is really for horses or lions or bears. It's huge and I have to take it twice a day! Not happy but I really want this to go away.
We've been so busy since school started. T is still loving kindergarten. We had our first conference with his teacher last week. She said he's doing great academically. He's a bit outspoken--wonder where he gets that?--but she doesn't see any major problems. She said he's bright and should do just fine. Of course I'm prejudiced but I know he's very bright, he just has to settle down a bit so the teacher can see how bright he really is. We'll keep practicing at home and working on the basics. He has a behavior chart at school. He starts out on green and can move to yellow then red if his behavior gets really bad. Luckily, so far he hasn't gotten worse than yellow!!! He's doing great and we're so proud of him.
Oh and by the way he's losing another tooth!!!! How can this be happenning? Two teeth and he's not even six yet. This is what kindergarten does to ya I guess.
N's doing fine as well. Seems to like school and is still off his ADD meds so far. First progress report comes out the 31st so we'll see how he's really doing then. He seems to think he's doing great but we'll wait to see how the grades are.

OH, we have wireless now. I'm so excited. Dew sat and played poker in his favorite chair last night and I am sitting in the Daddy's recliner typing this right now. Something so simple but so great! I'm loving being a high-tech redneck!
Ah well, enough for now. Have to get ready for open house at T's school tonight!

I finally did it!
I went to the salon to get my haircut--a pony tail is not a good look for me!!!!
At the salon was a poster of the exact hair color I have been trying to get. I have failed miserably trying to get it at home so I decided since I was there I'd give it another try, why not! It's only hair right!?

Well, this time it worked! The hair color specialist matched the color with the poster and I now have 3 different shades of red with blonde highlights!!! I'm so psyched.
I'll try to post pics but you know my issues with blogger. They may not work. But if they do you'll see my new hair below!

First day of kindergarten!!! I dreaded this day all summer and now it's here. It wasn't as bad as I had anticipated but it was hard. I didn't cry in front of him though. Luckily, Dew went in late so he could go with us. I'm so glad. It kept me from losing it totally. I'm counting the minutes until 2:20 so I can leave to pick him up. He was so brave and excited. I hope he had a great day and met lots of new friends. (and followed the rules)!!!!

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
I know a garden girl. I never thought it would happen. I am sooo excited that my friend (yes, my friend) kellicrowe, the kellicrowe, is a garden girl at 2 peas!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited OH I already said that. I'm rambling. 2peas made a great choice. I love her work and scraplift it whenever I get the chance. And to top it off she's sweet and kind and the craziest woman I have ever met. So lucky to be her friend.
To think I went to CKU Nashville Masters knowing very few people and came home with the Nashville Stars as my buds. Who woulda thunk it.
They are all so talented and sweet and they put up with me!
I'm so excited!!!!!!!

I am hating blogger today! I have tried 3 times to post an adorable pic of kellicrowe and it won't load.
Just know that I have one and will post it when ever this whacked out blog gets a clue!

Oh, Nate's back from Las Vegas. He had a cancelled flight and 2 delays but got in about 1:30 this morning. He had a great time and took tons of pics on his camera phone! A scrapper's kid for sure.

My sisters picked up Heidi's new collection at Costco for me today!!!!! They even swiped one of the boxes for me in Heidi Swapp pink. I can't wait to get my hands on it!
Yay for me.

Okay so yesterday I told Tanner he was officially 5 1/2 yrs old! Actually I was off by 1 month. Crazy mom! But anyway we enjoyed celebrating his birthday anyway. It was a good excuse for ice cream and swimming and movies and eating out! Like we need one. We watched Doogla and Hoodwinked on demand. We went to Brusters for ice cream. Tanner said we needed it since it was 95 when we went there, it was 94 when we left so it was definitely hot enough for swimming. So off to Gramma's to splash a little water out of the pool. It needed it after last night's rain storm.
After the grandparents got home we picked up Dad and went to Tijuana Flats for dinner. Tanner asked the cute waitress what her name was and introduced himself and shook her hand. Then he introduced all of us. He was so cute and grown up!
Oh well, heard from Nate this afternoon. He's in Vegas with Dad and he said they hung at the pool at the MGM Grand today. They're going to Red Rock Canyon tomorrow and then renting atv's later in the week. He's having a great time. He sent me some pics from his phone. A scrapper's son. He has also been collecting the cards they pass out on the strip. I was hoping his dad would keep him off the strip but it didn't work. He has collected a stack of them already. Ugh!!! Definitely have to clean out his luggage when he gets home!
Oh well, that's all for now. T and I are going to hit the movies tomorrow. One more week before school. I'm going to enjoy every minute while I can! boo hoo

Totally forgot......Tanner is losing a tooth! I so totally feel Heidi's pain now. Oh to have something in common with Ms. Swapp other than our favorite color choice. The day after I read her blog post about being sad over Q's lost tooth, T tells me his tooth hurts. Panic! I looked and he has a big tooth coming in behind his baby tooth. He is very proud of himself. He is going around telling everyone "I have a loose tooth and I am only 5 years old. I'm not even 6 yet!"
Somebody slow the next two weeks down please. 14 days until my baby starts Kindergarten. I can't stand it!

Crazy Days!!!! Where did the weekend go anyway? Nate's been gone all weekend to the beach. Hanging with all the boys and surfing to his heart's content. Of course, watching the girls too! He is a teenage boy after all. He'll come home sunburned, tired and with a teenage boy attitude tomorrow morning. Then, it's off to Vegas on Wednesday morning. My boy leaves again! Oh well!

I spent all day yesterday cleaning out T's room. I moved all the furniture and changed it up. Took out a full box of shoes that are too small and a bag of too small clothes to pass on to my mom's neighbor. She has 4 boys, yes that is right, 4. And one lone little girl!
Also cleaned out two big boxes of toys that are going elsewhere. Probably donate somewhere but they have to leave my house. All of T's toys are organized and in bins and on shelves. Lots of floor space. He loves it!!! That made it all worth it. All the lifting and sorting was worth it when he walked in and said "my room looks great. it looks so different" Let's hope it stays that way for a little while.
I'll have to take pics and post later. He wants the pooh and tigger mural down now. Man I am going to miss them! He's ready for Star Wars and Sigma 6 now. UGH.
Enough for now. Gotta go check on the little man!

OK Where did 4 days go? It still feels like Monday here but the lady on the news swears that it is Wednesday! I lost two days with a bad sinus headache that could be the problem. Oh well, what 's two days here and there?????
Had a great time at the Sunshine Scrappers crop Saturday night. Got about 4 layouts done and had fun socializing. Sick in bed on Sunday and moving very slow on Monday but feeling better now.
I went to cooking club on Monday night and made yummy food. Even made the potato recipe last night for the gang and Dew and I loved them. Tanner, not so much. He's not very adventurous unless it's seafood.
Worked yesterday and finishing up loose ends today then I'm off until Monday. Of course, I'll have to check email and do payroll over the weekend but I'm not going to the office. If the rain will stop Tanner and I are going to go to the pool with Robin and the gang. Since there's a tropical wave over the bahamas I don't see the rain staying away today but maybe tomorrow! Summer in Florida....and we're supposed to be the sunshine state. Right! At least no hurricanes yet just plenty of tropical waves, depressions and storms. Gotta pull out the hurricane box and make sure we're ready just in case.
Oh well, better get those loose ends tied up and start my 3 days off!

Alright end of month is over!!!!!!
I'm headed out to the sunshine scrappers crop as soon as the guys return from their fishing tournament and I'm not leaving until they force me out at midnight! I'm also only working 1 1/2 days next week. I need some time away before my boss leaves on her vacation on Friday. Hopefully, I can get the house thoroughly cleaned and can spend the rest of the time scrapbooking. Of course, with some fun at the beach and pool mixed in too!
Oh well, gotta start dinner for the boys and then I'm off to crop.

Well, I just typed a whole post and now it's gone!!!! Not fair. It was funny too.
I'll try to recreate but I make no promises. I can only be so funny so many times in one day.....
If anyone comes by my house they will see a large green cloud enveloping my house. Don't be alarmed! It is a testosterone cloud. It happens when 5 males have been in the house together all weekend. It will disappear soon. I've sprayed perfume, scrubbed the bathrooms, taken out the trash...it will be gone soon.

Dew's best friend came in for the weekend with his 13 yo son. The guys had a blast. They fished for three days. 3 days getting up too early and getting to bed too late. They went to see the shuttle on Tuesday then Rog and Dillon headed back to NC. Everyone is slowly recuperating. Tanner and I hung at the house. I had lots of work to do for end of month and he had playstation levels to beat and cartoons to catch up on. We had a quiet weekend.
We did have fun on the 4th. I finished my reports and uploaded them at 4:30 and we headed to Mom's. We swam and ate and later lit sparklers. A calm 4th just the way we needed it.
Determined to scrapbook this week and weekend. I did do one page this weekend. I'll post it after I take a pic. A cute layout of Mr T being his adorable self.
Well, time for bed. Early day tomorrow. Have to finish audits and counsel an employee. Booooooo

Ugh! I missed a day of posting. Slipping already! I promised myself I would try to post everyday. I did say TRY!
Didn't get to bed until 2 this morning--working on EOM. Got up at 4 when the guys left for fishing then back to bed until 7:30 when T woke up. Hung at the house all morning then ran to Joann's with Mom and Don. Picked out fabric for my new bag. I got all the pieces cut out and will try to get some of it sewn tomorrow. The guys are fishing again tomorrow so it's me and T all day again. Think we'll make some oatmeal cookies. T saw them on tv and wants to make some now. We'll give it a try.
Have to print some reports and get back to work. Can't wait for Wednesday when EOM is over for another month.
Wish I had something terribly funny to blog about but it's a quiet, slow-moving weekend here.
T told me today "That's not gonna happen my friend, that's not gonna happen". His response to me telling him he is going to have a 5 minute time out when we get home. He has an answer for everything. God Bless his kindergarten teacher next month, whomever she may be!

Okay, second post! 2 in a row, this may be a trend.
It has been a crazy day. Took Nate to summer school at 7, Tanner to VBS at 9 and off to the other side of the world to write someone up. Great way to start my day!
Then back to my side of town for a 12:00 meeting, at least it included a yummy chef salad at Ale House. Then to another facility by 1:30 to complete their audit and complete all the facility payrolls. Yuck.
Got finished at 4:45 and headed out to pick up Tanner at Robin's. Chase decided to sleep over so now they are eating and playing Playstation.
Nate dumped his fairly new cell phone in a puddle going to get his grandmother's umbrella so he's at the mall trying to buy a new one--with my money of course. Gotta love em!
My job is changing and I will be responsible for front desk compliance for all of Orlando and Jacksonville so I decided I needed to dress up a little more on the few days I was in the office. So, I also needed some decent shoes. My fav shoes are flip flops and crocs. Not exactly dress up shoes. I went and bought two pair of "big girl" shoes. I wore them to work Monday and today and guess what? I now have "big girl" blisters. I hate heels. I hate being a big girl. And this job change did not come with a raise!!!!!! I'm going to need to see a podiatrist if this keeps up!
I know, I'm whiney, I'm cranky. But I'm posting on my blog..........
I took pics of my "big girl" shoes. They're very cute...in the box. I actually like the tan pointy ones. It's the cute Isaac Mizrahi ones with the bows that gave me the 3 blisters. I hope they'll get more comfortable. My husband had a very strange look on his face when he caught me in my yoga pants taking pics of my shoes. I told him don't ask and keep moving!

Okay, I'm giving this another try! I've stopped doing my daily journal so maybe I can keep up with this now....I hope....no pressure!
Tan is going to VBS this week at his old school. He's so excited to see some of his old buddies again. It's going to be hard for him to go to school and know no one but he's a friendly kid and I know he'll make friends quickly--hopefully not with the principal, if you get what I mean???
Chase came home from VBS with us and slept over last night. Tanner has such a good time playing with him and he keeps him busy. Nathan even hung out with them for a little while and played Playstation. He acted like a kid again. Nice to see him not sooo grown up for a little while.
He has 6 more days of summer school and then a little time off before he goes to Vegas with his Dad. I'm so proud of him. He is carrying an A in Algebra right now. From straight F's all year to nothing but A's all summer. Ya can't beat it. Dude, if I'd known we would have skipped it during the year! Would have done wonders for the GPA!!!
Oh well, enough for now, don't wanna burn out the first day! Gonna try to post the pic of the boys playing last night.---I said TRY!
