Well it's been a very interesting couple of days here in Boy land.
I had a great time at the Sunshine scrappers crop on Saturday and came home super charged on caffeine. I didn't go to bed until 2:30 am but couldn't sleep so I went to the couch to watch tv. I fell asleep at around 4. At 5 I was woke up by coughing and crying. Tanner couldn't breathe!!! I tried to calm him hoping his breathing would slow down and we could handle it on our own. That didn't happen. He got even worse and kept saying he couldn't breathe. I finally told Dew to call 911! I don't think I've ever been that scared. The EMT's came and tried breathing treatments with albuterol but his sats were at 83 so we were quickly taken to the ER by ambulance. He finally was able to speak when they gave him epinephrine in his breathing treatment. What a relief! We spent 3 1/2 hours in the ER and then came home to try to rest. We followed up with Dr Didea today and everything seems to be fine now. Dr says probably an allergic reaction to something. We may never know what! Great.
On the way to the first doctor's appt yesterday we were in a wreck......... Yes, it happens again. I really need to paint over the bulls eye on my truck. We were stopped at a stoplight as was the car behind us, but the guy behind her didn't stop and plowed into her sending her into us.
Now is when I apologize for all the complaining about the huge boat hitch on my truck. Sorry honey! The hitch saved us big time. Her car ate my hitch and did major damage to her but my truck did pretty well. I will need a new bumper and a little touch up for a few scratches and a new hitch but otherwise we came through it really well. Thankfully we wear our seatbelts and we were both safe. No one was injured!
I'm more than ready for December to turn around to a more positive note! Hear me Lord????
Tomorrow I go to pick up my new work laptop. I can't wait. Hopefully the traffic will be light and the bullseye is gone!
Have a good one.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving!!!!
Hope everyone had a great holiday. We did. We had 15 people at our house for dinner and I think we all had a great time. We don't have a large house but we all fit just fine....I knew we would. We did a little shopping after everyone was filled up. My sisters and I got up very early the next morning--3:30 to be exact. We met at Kohl's at 4 but didn't find anything we wanted. Then we hit Starbuck's for Peppermint Mochas and comfy chairs. We got to watch all the crazy people lining up around the building to go to WalMart! We skipped it and went to Target. Robin headed to work and Kristi and I hit the big T. We got lots of goodies and stood in line for over an hour to check out. Target was soooo not prepared for the rush. Surprising because they normally do a better job.
Let's see what else has gone on????
Oh yeah, my hubby and I finished my island for my scrap room. I did it piece by piece and now it's done. I just need to put molding around the table top to make it pretty. It's even on wheels so I can move it around. Thanks honey!
I finished my Christmas advent tree for the boys also. I can't wait to get the candy and fill it up just in time for December 1st!
Well I think that's enough for now! Be back soon.

Arctic North!!!
That's right, we're back from the Arctic North! We even have a patch to prove it. It says"We survived camping in freezing weather". Never thought I'd get one of those living in Florida but this weekend we definitely earned it. It was extremely cold when we went to bed in our tent on Friday night but during the night it really dropped. When revelie was blown at 6:49 am (yes 6:49) It was around 34-37 degrees. Needless to say we were very bundled up when we went to the flag raising at 7:45. Believe it or not I let the bugler live. After only a few hours sleep he was the last person I wanted to see at 6:49 but he played his little tune and moved on to wake other unsuspecting campers.
Tanner had a great time on his first cub scout campout. It was Tiger Growl weekend at Camp La-No-Che in Eustis. He couldn't wait to shoot the bb gun and the bow and arrow. We hiked and cooked our own food and slept in the tent. Well, I take that back, he and Dew slept in the tent. I layed in the tent and tried to sleep and keep from freezing to death. The ground is very hard and cold and I feel very old today! I let Dew and Tanner have the air mattress since Dew has such a bad back. My sweet hubby bought a king size air mattress as soon as we got home today so next time we all sleep on the mattress! Thanks honey!
The kids are off all week for Thanksgiving so Taylor is watching Tanner for me tomorrow so I can work. He loves Taylor and can't wait to spend the morning with her. Watch out Taylor!
Oh well, I need sleep so I'll post a few shots from this weekend and I'm off to bed.
See ya!

Man.....has it been 7 months! I really need to be better at this. I'm going to try!
So much going on around here. Work is crazy busy and only going to get worse. Giving up 3 of my 14 clinics and adding 13 in Tampa, Brandon, St Pete and Clearwater. Crazy Busy!
Nate has his truck on the road. He's slowly changing it from a work truck to HIS truck. He's doing a great job getting parts of it painted neon green. The grill, dash, windshield wipers and parts of the interior are now green. It looks very professional. He starts training at Winn Dixie on Monday. He's going to start as a cashier. I hope he does well and likes it for now. Not something he wants to do forever but at least he'll have spending money and gas money.
Tanner is doing great. Recovering from another bout of illness. This time just stuffy nose and fever. He came home from school early on Thursday ( I was out of town so Daddy had to do the pickup), and I kept him home on Friday since he was still feeling yucky. Doing better today thankfully. He's doing great in school and moved up in reading level again! Go T!
I'm working on revamping my scrap room/office. I moved all my work paraphenalia to one area and am working on plans for an island with storage to take the place of my table. Dew is willing to put it together for me once I get what I want! Mom brought me a window for my scraproom as well. I can't wait to get it put in. Will take away some wall space but I'll be able to get sunlight in and look out at the world. I won't feel like I'm working in a cave anymore.
Oh well don't want to burn myself out on my first post in 7 months!!!
Gotta get some rest before the sun comes up!
Signing off..........

Man, where have I been for the last two months????
Crazy life......I guess the craziness will never go away so I'll just have to make an effort to live it.
T has started soccer. He's loving it. I think he just loves being there with the kids more than the soccer itself. As long as he's having a good time I'm okay with that!
He did karaoke at his uncle's bday party this past weekend. Give that boy a mic and he is in his element! He was dancing and singing and entertaining everybody.
Posting pics of soccer and karaoke.
Enjoy!!

Well well well once again blogger ate my post! I'll try again. Last week I could have had water shots of the pool since my niece was swimming in it. This week we are back in jeans and jackets. That's living in Florida! I am going to get out and get some water shots no matter what this week. For now I am posting one of my favorite water shots from a few weeks ago. This flamingo at Gatorland was taking a bath right as we got there. He splashed away and I clicked away!

Took some time to get a few shots around the yard today. Very dreary day today. I guess it's our version of winter! Weeds are blooming but it looks like it wants to snow--not likely since it's in the 70's!!!!
I tried out my new tripod on these. Will take a little getting used to I think.
Taken at ISO 200, f5.6 and 1/160 ss in A setting!
Taken at ISO 200, f5.6 and 1/250 ss in A, 250mm

I'll save a few shots for tomorrow in case I can't get time to go out.
TFL. CC always welcome. Trish

A quick post of Mr T. He is on an animal planet kick right now and is drawing pictures of every animal he learns about. He has his doctor kit out and is driving the dog and cat crazy. Today he wants to be a vet. I think the animals are in hiding!
Picture taken at iso 400, f5.6 and ss 1/60 with fill flash. CC welcome always!!

Okay a few quick shots of my only willing model today--Prissy. She decided to sit outside with me today and it was just getting dark so the shots aren't as good as I would have liked. I could use some help in the settings department. Still working on using anything but auto.
The first one was shot without flash at iso 400 ss1/15 and f5.6.

Okay second shot was with fill flash which I knew I was going to get demon kitty eyes but it was getting dark. Shot at iso 200, ss 1/125 and f5.6.
Any CC more than welcome!
Thanks for looking. Trish

Oh man I can't believe I'm behind already and it's only the 9th day of the year!!
I took some new pics of Sneaky--outside the glass. T loved holding him.

Also got a quick shot of the ever mysterious Prissy. She rarely allows paparazzi to catch her but she was entranced with that piece of cardstock. She loves scraps!

Alright 2 shots! Sneaky was shot at ISO 400, f5.6, exp 1/80 and Prissy was shot at ISO 320, f4.5, exp 1/40.

Okay, I'll try this again. Blogger didn't like my last post apparently.
I picked an easy subject for my first photo challenge. My son has a new addition--a leopard gecko named Sneaky. We have become quick friends since I feed and water him every day. I haven't become daring enough to take him out of the aquarium so these shots are through the glass aquarium!
Well, as usual blogger hates me. I can't get my pictures to upload. Will try again later!

These look alot better irl. They were all taken at f5.6, ISO 400. 1st shot is exp 1/40, 2nd is 1/60 and 3rd is 1/30. No flash due to the glass.
CC definitely accepted!!!
Thanks. Trish
